Use {var} format for parameters in docs instead of $var
In the new scanner docs I used `$plugin` while in other parts of the docs we
had `{...}` aready. Switch to use the already established format for
consistency. Though, I personally, think `$plugin` reads a tiny bit better than
`{plugin}`.
