First of all, please don't post HTML messages to the mailing list.

Then, concerning your actual problem: you didn't say which version of
mod_dav_svn/Subversion you used on the server.

Did you look at the error log to see if there were messages around the
time of this error? Maybe a report of a httpd child crashing?
