what does Response.generatedFault do ?

Hi all,
I am curious to know what the generatedFault
method of the Response returned from the
soap Call.invoke() does ?.
It's a boolean value, but it seems to return
true even if my call invoke succeeds.

as far as i know there is no DTD in soap instead soap uses XMLSchema...
