re: a non-webmethod shows up in my wsdl

I have spent some time trying to understand why I have a checkNetid
function in my wsdl file, at
http://dante.acomp.usf.edu:8080/lmsstats/AxisLMSServerStub.jws?wsdl

It isn't in the .jws file at all, but I realized, while looking at the
code, that my .jws file is extending another class, and it is in that class.

But, the extended class has no '@WebMethod' so how can the webmethod be
showing up?

I will try to get a proof of concept to demonstrate this soon.

Thanx for helping me to understand what is going on.
