[jira] [Commented] (MAPREDUCE-1716) Truncate logs of finished tasks to prevent node thrash due to excessive logging

    [ https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/MAPREDUCE-1716?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel&focusedCommentId=13156558#comment-13156558 ]

Arun C Murthy commented on MAPREDUCE-1716:

Konstantin - I'd strongly urge you to consider this for 0.22.0 itself. Without this patch clusters are very susceptible to tasks in which users have code to log excessively & cause lots of issues for DN/TT by eating up disk space on nodes.
