[Issue 128207] New: Error (0xc0000005), opening any OO app
https://bz.apache.org/ooo/show_bug.cgi?id=128207
Issue ID: 128207
Issue Type: DEFECT
Summary: Error (0xc0000005), opening any OO app
Product: General
Version: 4.1.7
Hardware: PC
OS: Windows 7
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: Normal
Priority: P5 (lowest)
Component: accessibility
Assignee: issues@openoffice.apache.org
Reporter: rens.baggermans@gmail.com
Target Milestone: ---
Whenever trying to open any OO app, I get this error: 0xc0000005.
Any idea what this is? When searching for a solution I tried nearly everything
from scanning for viruses to running cmd prompts scanning for faults and
cleaning up the registry with CCleaner, nothing seems to work.
Thanks in advance.

It is a windows OS issue.
Please check with Microsoft sources. We cannot help much on this.

I saw this might be also valid in earlier systems.
and I saw that some sort of kernel close Viruses cause such an error.

Not reproduce, AOO works fine with Windows 7 all editions.
Start Windows in Safe Mode and run OpenOffice. If it runs stable in Windows
Safe Mode, then the problem is caused by some program that runs in Windows
Normal Mode.
