[Marketing] - call for Apache Flex speakers / call for papers

Apache Flex Evangelism

Another component of promotion is evangelism. This involves someone writing a presentation, submitting the topic to a conference and being accepted to speak. The economics of conferences involve attendees registering to attend, speakers offering presentations and training that is new & cutting edge enough to encourage inspiration and technology adoption.

There is a show (360|Stack, August 4 - 7, 2013, Denver Colorado, USA) that is looking for speakers (and sponsors) (and attendees) on the topic: Apache Flex [1].

This is a cut & paste from a promotional e-mail I received"... got some really awesome topics all across the webstack space; from Apache Flex to HTML5/JS stuff, even some AIR native stuff. August will be here before you know it, and the call for papers will close soon! Even if the idea is a rough one, get it submitted, we can flesh it out as we go! You can't be a speaker if you don't submit anything, and only speakers get special "speaker" shirts!"

Do you know of other important software development shows that could use speakers, sponsors, and attendees in our area of interest: Apache Flex / Software Development / Open Source Programming

A strong point Scott.

But guys Flex is rising again in the hands of communities I suggest
all committees here create again the buzz across meetups.

Apache Flex meet up SF
Apache Flex meet up UK
Apache Flex meet up Tokyo

and so on.

Meetups is by far best way to approach developers rather than big events in
first sentence.

I've submitted two Apache Flex talks for 360|Stack: 1) a year in review, and
