I did test the calculator sample on my machine, and it works well...
I started tomcat server like this:
 
  C:\jakarta-tomcat-3.2.1\bin>startup
  Including all jars in ..\lib in your CLASSPATH.
 
  Using CLASSPATH:
..\classes;..\lib\xerces_1_2.jar;C:\soap-2_1;..\lib\ant.jar;..\
 
lib\jaxp.jar;..\lib\servlet.jar;..\lib\parser.jar;..\lib\webserver.jar;.
.\lib\ja
 
sper.jar;..\lib\soap.jar;..\lib\xerces_1_2.jar;..\lib\js.jar;..\lib\bsfe
ngines.j
 
ar;..\lib\bsf.jar;..\lib\mail.jar;..\lib\activation.jar;..\lib\xerces_1_
2.jar;c:
   \jdk1.3.0_02\lib\tools.jar
 
   Starting Tomcat in new window
   C:\jakarta-tomcat-3.2.1\bin>
 
And... I ran the /calculator/testit.cmd like this:
 
   C:\soap-2_1\samples\calculator>echo %CLASSPATH%

jar;c:\s
   oap-2_1;.
 
   C:\soap-2_1\samples\calculator>testit.cmd

   Deploying the calcuator service...

   Verify that its there
   Deployed Services:
           urn:xml-soap-demo-calculator
   .
   Running the calculator
   Ouch, the call failed:
     Fault Code   = SOAP-ENV:Server
     Fault String = BSF Error: unable to load language: javascript
   .
   Undeploy it now
   .
   Verify that its gone
   Deployed Services:
 
   C:\soap-2_1\samples\calculator>
 
This sample program shows a calculator gui window, but i don't know how
to use it... it's funny... there's no enter button...
However, it works well... Try again and good luck....
