    @ottobackwards Yeah, I took a look through the ParserBolt and the MessageParser interface. We process a raw byte array. A clean way of doing that isn't immediately obvious to me either. Perhaps these semantics could be documented for the parser? Minimally, I think we should describe the 2 cases I outlined above.
