As suggested in [HDFS 718|https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/HDFS-718?focusedCommentId=12776315&page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels%3Acomment-tabpanel#action_12776315] having an option to skip the confirmation question when formating a NameNode would prove to be very useful when packaging hadoop.
