[DISCUSS] Alerts UI: Loading state while fetching data

Hi all,

I think it would great to have a loading state on the Alerts UI which shows
loading is in progress (spinner) and prevent the user to trigger new fetch
requests before the response arrives (or timeout).

I added more detail here: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/METRON-2190

Please take a look at it when you have a chance and let me know what you
think.

+1. I don't think there's really much to discuss, tbh. Definitely
appreciate your putting this out to the dev list, however, and I'd have
been just as happy to see it roll in via a PR. This just seems like prudent
UX design IMO. The sooner we get this, the better.

Yes!  I think this is sorely needed.

Would this also include indicating when an error has occurred in the
backend call?  That might also be helpful and somewhat related to
METRON-2190.
