Syslog error message

For a few days, our /var/adm/syslog/syslog.log on our HP-UX box where Tomcat is running has been filling up with messages like this:

It started out with this message:
 
Apr 10 13:41:38 cosmoweb vmunix:  Timeout called with negative time.
 
Does anyone know what this means and how to fix it?
