Thanks for providing the patch. I applied it to the repository with the following commit: https://git-wip-us.apache.org/repos/asf?p=olingo-odata4.git;a=commit;h=756ae564e547d7d01aff30bbd2c45bf7bcd4c8ca

It would be nice if you could apply the same behavior to the xml serializer.
