[jira] Commented: (HBASE-13) [hbase] WrongRegionException looks suspiciously like client region selection is doing its calc. wrong

    [ https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/HBASE-13?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel&focusedCommentId=12566310#action_12566310 ]

Bryan Duxbury commented on HBASE-13:
------------------------------------

Is this reproducible anymore? This could be a side effect of the problem Jim fixed with regions being unexpectedly offline, which would be adding an unexpected number of retries to the mix, causing the WrongRegionExceptions to bubble through to the client instead of being absorbed in the retries.

> We seem to be asking for the endkey on a region rather than asking for the next region, the one that has the asked-for row as its start key.
