Hello,

I'm not a FOP expert, but I think the best way to begin is to read :
http://xml.apache.org/fop/embedding.html

You should try : ExampleFO2PDF, with a few "fo" files listed at 
http://xml.apache.org/fop/examples.html
(it's quite easy, you just have to copy the code and put the jars in your 
local classpath)

And then, you should look at ExampleXML2PDF.
