Re Apache's use of 506: I'm not sure of the etymology of
this, but I suspect it was added based on some advance
notice from Roy Fielding.
Re other: In the meantime, until we decide whether/how to
add this sort of functionality, please remember that you
can set up ErrorDocument clauses in .htaccess files and
<Directory> containers, not just server-wide.
