build.sh script (Installing--file "manifest.xerces" not found)

Hi,

I am a beginner and I am trying to Install Xerces. I am running the
build.sh
script on a unix system. It runs for around 10-15 mins and then gives an
error at this point.

/cs/home/cs221162/xerces-2_4_0/build/xerces-2_4_0/samples
  [copydir] DEPRECATED - The copydir task is deprecated.  Use copy
instead.

BUILD FAILED
file:/cs/home/cs221162/xerces-2_4_0/build.xml:250: Warning: Could not find
file /cs/home/cs221162/xerces-2_4_0/src/manifest.xerces to copy.
"

I understand that in the build.xml file at line 250 its looking for the
file manifest.xerces to copy. But there is no file named manifest in the
src directory.

Can someone please guide me what might be causing the problem and where
can i find the above mentioned file.
