Jmeter Support for Weblogic, Websphere

Hi,

I was looking at Jmeter to use it for my Load testing, and I have the
following questions

Is JMeter just used for applications hosted on Apache servers. I am
typically looking at Weblogic and Webssphere servers. Does Jmeter support
it.

If Yes, do I require any plugin or settings.
