I personally don't see much of a cause for confusion, but that's simply my 2p.

David,

Thanks for doing the work to produce/share Windows binaries.

I am a little concerned that your announcement looks very similar to our
official release announcements. (I realize you say "my release", etc.,
but I find more similarities than differences.) Could this cause
readers to confuse your release for an official binary release?

Regards,

Daniel

P.S. Would you like to add your binaries to the list on
<http://subversion.apache.org/packages#windows>? If so, could you
please send a patch against the site source (/subversion/site/publish in
the ASF repository). Thanks.

These zip-files are ceated using the script released in the source-code,
and made to be as equal as possible to DJ Heap's zip-packages released
on tigris.org up to version 1.6.6.
Thats why the dll:s isn't renamed.

Thanks!

I've tested the Python bindings, and it seems that you've forgotten to
change the file extension of the libsvn/_*.dll to .pyd (the
libsvn_swig_py-1.dll should stay as it is). After I did this manually,
everything worked fine.
