[jira] [Updated] (INFRA-6096) Reduce duplication in git and IRC
messages on commits on a dev release branch
[ https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/INFRA-6096?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:all-tabpanel ]
Daniel Gruno updated INFRA-6096:
--------------------------------
Status: Waiting for user (was: Waiting for Infra)
How about we then make it so that, for the time being, we don't post to IRC/JIRA when stuff is pushed to the 3.3 branch? that ought to be easy enough to implement.

> We have a few branches, which are typically just merges down from the master git branch. When doing these merges, we get duplication of commit messages in our Jira and IRC channels.
