[jira] [Resolved] (DERBY-4443) Wrap rollback in exception handlers in try-catch

     [ https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/DERBY-4443?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:all-tabpanel ]

Bryan Pendleton resolved DERBY-4443.
------------------------------------

          Resolution: Fixed
       Fix Version/s: 10.9.0.0
    Issue & fix info: [Newcomer] (was: [Patch Available, Newcomer])

I committed patch 7 to the trunk as revision 1096991.

Thanks for all the hard work on this change; the testing was
a bit tricky but I'm pleased that we worked through the issues
to get a test case that solidly demonstrates the new functionality.

> Avoid this pattern everywhere:
> 		}catch(SQLException se){
> 			//issue a rollback on any errors
> 			conn.rollback();
> 			throw  se;
> 		}
> because an error in rollback will shadow the original exception.
