Hi,
Is there a way to do newspaper type layouting
For example several columns in a pdf
where the articles wrap into the next column.

Have a look at the column-count and column-gap properties on
fo:region-body. There are example XSL-FO files in the FOp distribution:
examples/fo/region_body/simplecol*.fo
examples/fo/footnotes.fo
examples/fo/keeps_and_breaks/columnlevel1.fo
I hope that helps.
