DO NOT REPLY [Bug 47597] New: Header set is not applied on Redirect

https://issues.apache.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=47597

Summary: Header set is not applied on Redirect
           Product: Apache httpd-2
           Version: 2.2.11
          Platform: PC
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: NEW
          Severity: normal
          Priority: P3
         Component: mod_headers
        AssignedTo: bugs@httpd.apache.org
        ReportedBy: arnold@adaniels.nl

Header set Retry-After "Thu, 18 Jun 2009 08:00:00 +0200"
Redirect 503 /

I would expect the Retry-After header to be set, but it isn't.

Eric Covener <co...@gmail.com> changed:

           What |Removed |Added
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
          Component|mod_alias |Documentation

--- Comment #1 from Eric Covener <co...@gmail.com> 2009-07-29 06:21:39 PST ---
"The optional condition can be either onsuccess or always. It determines,
which internal header table should be operated on. onsuccess stands for 2xx
status codes and always for all status codes (including 2xx). Especially if you
want to unset headers set by certain modules, you should try out, which table
is affected."

Changing to doc, The documentation should more clearly state that the default
is "onsuccess".
