[jira] [Resolved] (COMPRESS-311) File Name too long (>100 bytes) when trying to create a Tar,and I cn not reduce file name as per my requirement.

    Resolution: Not a Problem

either you can use POSIX or GNU extensions or the problem cannot be solved because the tar format enforces this limitation.
