[jira] Updated: (CONTINUUM-2182) Simplify installation on Solaris
[ http://jira.codehaus.org/browse/CONTINUUM-2182?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:all-tabpanel ]
Brett Porter updated CONTINUUM-2182:
------------------------------------
Fix Version/s: 1.x
a patch to generate SMX, DEB, and/or RPM using the unix-maven-plugin would be great.
Is that all you are looking for, or are there other changes you needed to make that you want to roll back into the main distribution?
> Simplify installation on Solaris

> Key: CONTINUUM-2182

> Project: Continuum
> Issue Type: Improvement
> Affects Versions: 1.3.2
> Environment: SunOS hostname 5.10 Generic_127112-07 i86pc i386 i86pc
> apache-continuum-1.3.2 standalone version
> java version "1.6.0_04"
> Java(TM) SE Runtime Environment (build 1.6.0_04-b12)
> Java HotSpot(TM) Server VM (build 10.0-b19, mixed mode)
> Reporter: Erik Drolshammer

> I found it hard to install Continuum on solaris.
> The following howto describes what I had to do to get it working:
> A working manifest can be found at http://wiki.community.objectware.no/display/sysadm/continuum-smf.xml.
> Perhaps this process could be simplified?
> Building packages with unix-m-p would be optimal, but any small improvements to make things easier would be nice.
