Changing From Public to Private Network
Hi Guys
One of the rookie mistakes I did when installing our own cloudstack
instance and KVM host, was that I configured everything via public
network subnets. Now NFS services are all communicating over public
network between my kvm host and CM host, which is affecting my VM
performance significantly.
We have now added additional NIC to our cloudstack management server and
our KVM host. Communicating via private network. However, I have made
zero changes on Cloudstack yet, because I have no idea how to change my
existing public network configuration to private. Can you guys kindly
confirm what is the best approach for me to do this without risking
images being corrupted and or deleted. We simply want to change primary
and secondary storage to run on private network and not public going
forward as we noticed this has performance issues on our VMs.
