   Thanks, that's really an edge case, but we probably want a better error message and prevent plugins from breaking the entire API server in case of a wrong configuration.

   I wouldn't classify this as 'critical'. it's really an edge case of a bad plugin configuration that could crash the server, but that will never happen if people use plugins correctly. (definitely something to fix though)

   After digging into it, it breaks 'external_links' feature, which is critical. Updated label, I'll open a PR shortly
