Just a heads-up that yes, rackspace.com is suffering some network 
issues at the moment including their own public servers.  So, access
to the various werken services, particularlly IRC and Jira for you maven 
folks may be sporadic until they get it resolved.

Trouble-tickets filed, and rackspace typically kicks ass in fixing things.
