> As we do not know much about what potential use-cases there are for MQTT, my recommendation is that whoever starts with the implementations first spends a considerable amount of time on understanding this protocol and its use-cases, finding a containerized solution for a broker implementation that adheres to them and plans the potential tests before even touching the code. Also starting with compatibility (platform for the docker frame/CI job) tests and checks before writing the tests is recommended.
