[jira] [Created] (GEODE-9874) Users need to be able to set hostname-for-clients of the locator using a property

Dan Smith created GEODE-9874:
--------------------------------

Summary: Users need to be able to set hostname-for-clients of the locator using a property
                 Key: GEODE-9874
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/GEODE-9874
             Project: Geode
          Issue Type: Improvement
            Reporter: Dan Smith

Currently, the only way to set hostname-for-clients on the locator is using LocatorLauncher.Builder().setHostnameForClients(), or by passing the --hostname-for-clients command line parameter.

This is not consistent with all of our other properties, which can be set in gemfire properties. There is a jmx-hostname-for-clients in the gemfire properties, but not a hostname-for-clients just for the locator.

We should make this property configurable using gemfire properties, or at least a java system property.
