[jira] [Commented] (SLIDER-344) Slider to get ZK tokens to agents

    [ https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/SLIDER-344?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel&focusedCommentId=14105684#comment-14105684 ]

Steve Loughran commented on SLIDER-344:
---------------------------------------

If a registry node is created without any access controls, then ZK doesn't require kerberos tokens, even if ZK has kerberos on.

so...in a secure cluster the AM should refuse to create the base registry ZK nodes.

..and client should do the work of creating the nodes

> Slider AM doesn't pass down ZK tokens to the agents, but the client probably doesn't push them up
> # client to create them
> # agent provider to pass them down
> # agent to pick them up
