-----------------------------------
    Resolution: Not A Bug

Hi Erik,

I've solved the problem by modifying the way my Linux box performs antialiasing. All applications (including NetBeans) have proper antialiasing enabled.

So I think this was a specific problem of mine, not reproducible.

For the records: infinality [http://www.webupd8.org/2013/06/better-font-rendering-in-linux-with.html|https://www.linuxbabe.com/desktop-linux/improve-font-rendering-on-debian-8-by-install-infinality-and-google-fonts] did the trick!

Kind regards,

Antonio
