Apache Pinot Daily Email Digest (2021-09-18)

 **@bvarunpy:** My requirement is to insert data in an excel file to Pinot.
This would be a dynamic ingestion that happens through REST API Call where the
excel file is the payload. What would be the best way to create a table and
load data in an excel file into the table.  
 **@bvarunpy:** Can I do batch insert or does it need to be though Kafka, what
will be the fastest way to do it  
**@mayanks:** You can either do via Kafka or will need to setup a batch
ingestion job.  
**@mayanks:** You can pick whichever of the two is faster for you.  
**@mayanks:** And if this is for simple testing, there's a rest endpoint that
you can use:
