VCL::Utils::notify_via_wall() doesn't work for linux VM reservations

I just noticed one of my linux VM reservations hit its timeout and I
didn't receive any notifications. I poked around a bit, it looks like
VCL::Utils::notify_via_wall() is written to only work for blade and
lab machine types. Shouldn't it also work for type virtualmachine
too?

Yes it should be based on OS types instead of hardware types.
