[jira] [Created] (CAMEL-9148) camel-hbase tests pass despite setup
error
Wojciech Indyk created CAMEL-9148:
-------------------------------------
Summary: camel-hbase tests pass despite setup error
Key: CAMEL-9148
URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/CAMEL-9148
Project: Camel
Issue Type: Bug
Components: camel-hbase
Reporter: Wojciech Indyk
there is clause in tests: when system is not ready (a local test cluster failed) then test is passed. It concerns all test cases. It is because a setUp method is:
try {
hbaseUtil.startMiniCluster(numServers);
} catch (Exception e) {
LOG.error("couldn't start HBase cluster.", e);
systemReady = false;
}
in my opinion this catch should be droped. When start of a miniCluster is failed, then tests should failed.
