   Would be nice to have someone resume on this. Feature is very critical and important. It would solve a rather very critical scenario, especially if implemented together with https://cwiki.apache.org/confluence/display/KAFKA/KIP-424%3A+Allow+suppression+of+intermediate+events+based+on+wall+clock+time
