[~Bhargava Vadlamani] row set-based framework is stable, unfortunately there are no good examples of usage yet. Paul and Charles will work on examples this in next two months.
From this release we are enforcing new framework usage, so new PRs written old code are not accepted (for example, excel plugin is also on hold since needs to be re-written).

> Hello,
> I have gone through the Apache Drill project , source code and also fixed the bugs for its Python Dialect (SQL Alchemy based) to be used integrated in Apache Superset.Since , I have a decent understanding of the code base and internals (thanks to [~cgivre] ) , I would like to go ahead and contribute ORC support for Apache Drill.
> Any previous discussions/ comments in this regard would be great for me to start with.
