Enabling Region Replicas

Hello,

I was wondering if there was anyway to enable region replica reads without
disabling the first table and if there's not how long we should expect it
to take to re-enable the table after enabling region replica reads. I was
also noticing that region splits/merges are not supported for tables with
region replicas enabled and I was wondering if there was a timeline for
when that's going to be added.
