Possible to deploy an http endpoint to an existing http component programmatically?

I have created an endpoint, HttpEndpoint. I wish to deploy it to an existing
component, "servicemix-http".

Looking through the API, I can't seem to figure out how to do this. I know
I can create a new component using this endpoint (as is done in the junit
tests), but I would really like to create HttpEndpoints that are bound to
the same port as servicemix-http. Ideally, I would like to do something
like this:

HttpEndpoint httpEndpoint = new HttpEndpoint();

ComponentMBeanImpl componentMBeanImpl =
container.getComponent("servicemix-http");
Component httpComponent = componentMBeanImpl.getComponent();
httpComponent.deploy(httpEndpoint); // This doesn't exist, but I would like
it to

Is there some way to do that last step programmatically?
