Should I create a new user for oozie

Hi everyone,

Should I create a new user and a new group for installing oozie and run
oozie workflows?

Hi

It is recommended to use a Oozie Unix user for the Oozie server.
See:
https://oozie.apache.org/docs/4.2.0/DG_QuickStart.html#Server_Installation

On the other hand, it is not necessary to submit workflows as the oozie
user because the Oozie client uses the REST API to communicate with the
Oozie server.
