Interesting discussion about Sqoop 1 vs 2 in Apache BigTop 0.7

Hi fellow Sqoop developers,
I would like to mention that there is quite interesting discussion on bigtop-dev [1] whether or not include Sqoop 1.x line in planned Bigtop release 0.7. In case that you are interested please do not hesitate and follow the discussions.

In case that you are not familiar with Bigtop, it's an open source Hadoop distribution. For more information please take a look on the web pages [2].
