   Currently, many REST interfaces define a path which requires the currently authenticated username. We can remove this and derive the username from the underlying auth system.
   
   This change affects core APIs and UI requests, as well as client libraries.
   
   Imported from Jira [STREAMPIPES-427](https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/STREAMPIPES-427). Original Jira may contain additional context.
