Serializing My Objects from RPCRouter

I am having trouble getting my returned objects to serialize properly from
rpcrouter.  I keep getting errors like:

invoke service
  URL=http://gkar:8070/soap/servlet/rpcrouter
  URN=urn:axl
(1187 ms)
Fault=SOAP-ENV:Server, java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: No Serializer
found to serialize a 'com.cisco.evvbu.axl.AxlUser' using encoding style
'http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/encoding/'.


I followed the AddressBook example, setting up a SOAPMappingRegistry and
BeanSerializer for the Call object.  I must still be missing something.

Any clues?
