The open source Xalan does not have localized messages. It should not give you 
the localized message in the brackets. Please check whether you are using the 
Xalan contained in JDK 1.4. This message is probably from the JVM. In this case 
it is a JVM bug. The redirect extension uses standard file operation. It should 
not have any limitation on path length itself.
