[TRINIDAD]Java Script not executing on calling Service's addScript method
Hi,
I created a JSF Page with a tr:commandButton in it. Inside its action method I wrote the following code:-
public String action(){
ExtendedRenderKitService service= Service.getRenderKitService(FacesContext.getCurrentInsatnce(),ExtendedRenderKitService.class );
service.addScript(FacesContext.getCurrentInsatnce(),"alert( ' hello Trinidad ' );");
}
This was supposed to open a Windows alert box with" hello trinidad " written on clicking the command Button.
But Nothing happens on doing so!!! What am I doing wrong??? PL. help!!!!!
Thanks,
Dushyant

Render Tooltips for select-options
Posted by "Hoehmann, Andreas" <an...@siemens.com>.
Hello,
javax.faces.model.SelectItem supports a "description". But the default
html-renderkit for selectboxes doesnt use this property. Why? I'm
searching for a select-box where a tooltip appears for every option
(mouseover) ... perhaps this is possible with a "title" attribute for
every option. How can i "customize" the renderer for select-options?
regards
andreas

works without that.
There is a demo available here:
