Jmeter and Win 7 64 bits

Hi all,

I'd like Jmeter to use efficiently the hardware resources on my machine,
which has 4 CPUS XEON @ 2.6Ghz and 8 GB RAM. It runs on win 7.
My questions are:
1) Should I use Java runtime 64 bits? How much I can increase the heap size?
2) What's the max of threads Jmeter can run concurrently given the specs? I
also I have bandwidth of 100 Mbs
3) Any other advices to tweak my machine?

Thanks

Thanh
