There is progress in 1.4-dev on this one. Instead of simply overwriting the
existing entry as it was orginally the case, an error message is shown
explaining the problem. It would be even better to provide an easy way to go
back to the "new entry" screen to change the id in question and maybe present a
less technical error screen to the user. Technically, this bug seems to be fixed.
