The Interface2WSDLGenerator problem with multi-dimensional arrays is caused by code in getTypeHelper() which only dereferences a single indirection from a java:array DataType.  A two-dimensional array has a double java:array DataType indirection, so a dereferencing loop is needed.

This specific problem is fixed in the 1.x trunk under revisions r1042122 and r1042123.

I'm leaving this JIRA open while I do further investigations on other array-related problems.
