Issues with cache where class extend base class

When creating a cached object that extends a base class the extended objects
are not returned upon query. However the objects are stored, if you iterate
through the entire JCache entry.

Is this the expected behavior, or do I need to specify a specific
annotation.

Gene,

Please share the models of both classes and the SQL query you use.
