   Great find, I've been suffering from this issue as well. From the above it sounds like an issue was also filed with Apache? Would you mind providing the link, I've been searching in the [Apache Jira](https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/HTTPCLIENT-1918?jql=project%20in%20(HTTPCLIENT%2C%20HTTPCORE)%20and%20text%20~%20CLOSED_WAIT
